WHARE ORANGA AKE REINTEGRATION FACILITATOR

The Reintegration Facilitator supports tāne through the active development stage of their reintegration journey, focusing on implementing the Living in Community Plan (LICP) and building the skills, confidence, and capability needed for successful community reintegration.

Working under the guidance of the Lead Reintegration Facilitator and Projects Lead, this role delivers practical, hands-on support across whānau reconnection, education and employment, temporary releases, and life skills development. The role ensures tāne are progressing against their goals, overcoming barriers, and preparing for reintegration and parole in a structured, culturally grounded environment aligned with the Innov8 Reintegration Poutama, te ao Māori, and the six pillars of reintegration.

COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION NAVIGATOR

  • Full time Work

  • Community Support Post Release for Tāne

  • Supporting Reintegration Plans

The Reintegration Navigator works alongside the Reintegration Lead to deliver day to day, hands on support to tāne, guiding them through their reintegration journey in a way that is practical, relational, and grounded in tikanga Māori.

This role focuses on walking alongside tāne as they transition into and out of the whare, supporting them to build structure, access opportunities, and develop the skills and mindset needed for sustainable reintegration. The Navigator plays a key role in bringing reintegration plans to life, ensuring that what is planned is actively happening in the day to day.

the role supports tāne holistically across the pou of Te Whare Tapa Whā and the six pillars of reintegration.

SHARED CARE CAREGIVER

  • Part-time and Casual Work

  • Residential & Community Support for in-care tamariki & rangatahi

Caregivers maintain in all aspects a safe, caring, responsible and supportive family environment in the family homes and whilst with tamariki and rangatahi in the community.

Provides, as part of a team, high quality care with kindness,  firm boundaries and appropriate levels of supervision to our children and young persons who may display very challenging and confrontational behavior and/or social, emotional, communication or learning difficulties. 

This role has been identified as a Children’s Worker position.
