TE WERO

  • Advisory rōpū to assist with the development of iwi-led wellbeing initiatives and commissioning

An innovative space to assist in the development of wellbeing initiatives for Ngāti Kahungunu.

This advisory rōpū is made up of Kaupapa Māori providers, iwi representatives, and community specialists including: Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga, Roopu a Iwi Trust, Te Kupenga Hauora Ahuriri, Innov8 Group, Te Whare Maire Wairoa, Ikaroa Rangatahi Social Services.

Kaupapa includes Justice, Courts, Te Ara Poutama, Oranga Tamariki, Hauora, Mātauranga, and Post Settlement Governance Entities.

TE ARA MĀTUA

  • Review of Oranga Tamariki delivery in the Hawke's Bay region

  • Development of an iwi-led response for whānau facing challenges.

Opportunity to work collaboratively with the Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi to review Oranga Tamariki delivery from a regional perspective and develop an iwi based response from a whānau Māori world-view.

The response is based on iwi values and principles and focuses on the wellbeing of the whānau as a whole and the communities that surround and support them.

  • Development of training and resources for people who work with rangatahi

  • Website and training help kaimahi use PARTH to build effective relationships with the rangatahi you support.

HAYSEED TRUST COLLABORATION

  • Joint venture to develop alternative experiences that achieve educational outcomes for disengaged rangatahi 

  • youthsay.co.nz website resources

  • Innov8 collaborates with other providers who participated in the Massey-based development and evaluation to develop training and resources.

  • Innov8 administrates the YOUTHSAY Website and facilitates training help kaimahi use PARTH to build effective relationships with the rangatahi that participants support.
